Aakash founded Shiftsmart in 2015 to execute his vision of empowering today’s rapidly expanding labor workforce to maximize their employment opportunities and help usher in a future where they can work exclusively based on their preferences.

Prior to founding Shiftsmart, Aakash worked at Google on behalf of the executive leadership team, where he specialized in the labor dynamics of managing staffing companies and large distributed workforces. Aakash started his career as a consultant at Booz & Company.

Aakash received his BA at the University of Texas at Austin.
